Certificate #88, issued January 5, 1894, uncancelled, very good plus condition. Seal of company affixed at Fremont (Cripple Creek), Colorado. Signed by a R.A. Work as secretary. Work later formed the Work Mining and Milling Company and prospered. Placer mining certificates issued on Cripple Creek mining properties are exceedingly scarce. Due to the relative "dryness" of the Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, successful placer operations were uncommon. Placer claims were more often used as townsites than for mining. Exceptionally rare to find this certificate in this condition. Most of the FFV Placer certificates that have surfaced are water- and/or mold-damaged.

Issued June 11, 1910, uncancelled, usual folds, near fine condition. Proposed project to connect the reduction and refining mills of Colorado City with mining operations in the Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, Colorado. The directors of this extraordinary project either planned to go over or around Pikes Peak to accomplish their goals. Project was never completed.
